Size & Fit
Three measurements and two adjustments are all it takes for a wig to sit like your own hair.

Average cap
Straps near the middle setting. This is the size the majority of our pieces list.
Measure from the front hairline, above one ear, along the nape, above the other ear and back to the start.
Cap sizes we carry
The majority of Jegomo pieces are listed as average cap size with internal adjustment across approximately 21.5"–25". Where a piece offers a different cap size, it is listed on that product page — always choose from the options shown rather than assuming.
How to measure
- Circumference
- From your front hairline, around above one ear, along the nape, above the other ear and back. This sets your cap size.
- Front to nape
- From the front hairline over the crown down to the nape. Tells you how far back the parting will fall.
- Ear to ear
- Over the top of the head between the tops of your ears. Useful for judging 13x4 and 13x6 frontal coverage.
Glueless fit
Flatten your own hair first — braided down or brushed flat with a satin band. Place the wig from front to back, align the lace with your hairline, then tighten the elastic straps a little at a time until the cap feels secure without pressure at the temples. Anchor the combs where fitted. A wig grip band adds hold if you are exercising or travelling.
Length on the body
Lengths are measured stretched. As a guide, 14"–16" sits around the chin and shoulders, 20"–24" reaches mid-chest to under the bust, 26"–30" falls toward the waist, and 32" and above reaches the hip. Curly and wavy textures appear shorter than the stretched measurement.
Fit questions
How do I choose the correct cap size?+
Measure the circumference of your head along your hairline, around the nape and back to the front. Most Jegomo wigs are average cap size and adjust across roughly 21.5 to 25 inches using the internal straps, which covers the majority of measurements.
How do I measure my head for a wig?+
Use a soft tape. Measure circumference (around the hairline and nape), front to nape over the crown, and ear to ear over the top. Circumference is the number that decides cap size; the other two tell you how the parting will sit.
Will a glueless wig stay on without adhesive?+
Yes, when it is adjusted correctly. Tighten the elastic straps until the cap sits firmly without pressure, then anchor the combs into braided or flat-laid hair. Add an elastic band or wig grip for extra hold on active days.
