Deep wave is a tighter, deeper S-pattern than water wave — more visible movement, more apparent volume, and a wet-look definition that revives with water and a leave-in rather than with heat.
This collection suits anyone who wants noticeable texture that still combs into a smooth silhouette when damp. Most pieces are offered on HD Swiss lace in 13x6 for full ear-to-ear parting or 7x5 glueless for quick wear, with densities from 200% upward because wave patterns look best with body through the mid-lengths.
Lengths are measured stretched, so a 24 inch deep wave will sit noticeably shorter than a 24 inch bone straight. If you want the length to read on the body, size up one increment. Care is straightforward: cool wash, condition mid-shaft to ends, squeeze rather than wring, scrunch the pattern back in while damp and air-dry on a stand. How do I care for a deep wave or water wave wig?+
Wash cool with sulphate-free shampoo, condition from mid-shaft to ends, then squeeze out water — never wring. Apply a leave-in while damp, scrunch the wave pattern with your hands and air-dry on a stand. Refresh between wears with a water and leave-in mist instead of brushing.
What is the difference between HD Swiss lace and transparent lace?+
HD Swiss lace is finer and thinner, so it disappears more completely into the scalp — it is what we use for the most invisible hairlines. Transparent lace is slightly thicker, more durable and easier to install, and reads well on light to medium tones.
How do I choose the correct cap size?+
Measure the circumference of your head along your hairline and nape. Most Jegomo caps are average size with internal straps adjusting across roughly 21.5 to 25 inches, which covers most measurements. Full instructions are on our Size & Fit guide.
