Curly at Jegomo covers several distinct patterns, and the difference matters: kinky curly mirrors tight natural 4-type coils, Burmese curly is a springier defined curl, jerry curl is a smaller uniform ringlet, and finger-coil finishes arrive already set at the ends.
These pieces are for women who want texture that blends with natural hair rather than a smooth blow-dry look. Because curl pattern eats length, most curly styles are carried at higher densities — 200%, 250% and 300% — so the ends stay full instead of tapering, and lengths read shorter on the body than the stretched measurement printed on the page.
Lace options include 13x6 HD frontals for full parting, 7x5 and 5x5 glueless closures for wear-and-go, and V-part and half-wig constructions that leave some of your own hair out at the crown. Curly hair needs water, not brushing: refresh with a leave-in mist, define with your fingers, and satin-wrap overnight. How do I stop a curly wig from tangling?+
Detangle only when damp and only with a wide-tooth comb or your fingers, working from the ends upward. Keep a leave-in conditioner on the hair, avoid dry brushing entirely, and satin-wrap or pineapple the hair overnight.
What is the difference between HD Swiss lace and transparent lace?+
HD Swiss lace is finer and thinner, so it disappears more completely into the scalp — it is what we use for the most invisible hairlines. Transparent lace is slightly thicker, more durable and easier to install, and reads well on light to medium tones.
How do I choose the correct cap size?+
Measure the circumference of your head along your hairline and nape. Most Jegomo caps are average size with internal straps adjusting across roughly 21.5 to 25 inches, which covers most measurements. Full instructions are on our Size & Fit guide.
