The Craft
Selected, Specified, Inspected
Jegomo does not manufacture hair. We choose it, document it precisely and prepare it — and we tell you exactly which of those things we did.
Four steps
- Selection
- We shortlist pieces by construction: lace type and size, density range, cap adjustability, and whether the hair is human hair with a documented grade. Styles that only look good in photographs do not enter the catalogue.
- Specification
- Every listing is rewritten from the raw supplier sheet into plain language: texture, lace size, density options, available lengths, cap size, and whether the wig is glueless or requires adhesive. If a claim is not documented, it does not appear.
- Inspection
- Lace, knots, parting space and cap seams are checked against the listed specification before a piece is offered, and colour and texture are compared to the product imagery.
- Preparation
- Pieces are prepared for dispatch with their listed inclusions — the wig, its adjustable straps and combs where fitted, and care guidance.
What we will not claim
We do not claim generational craftsmanship, one-of-one construction, hand-tying hour counts, or United States manufacturing. Some of our pieces are half machine-made and half hand-tied; that is normal for high-quality lace wigs and we would rather state it than dress it up.
We also publish the dispatch origin for each wig instead of promising a single warehouse. Accurate is more luxurious than exaggerated.
