The 30-Day Craft Guarantee
A construction guarantee, stated plainly — what it covers, and just as importantly, what it does not.
What it covers
- Lace failure
- Lace that tears at the seam or perimeter during normal wear, rather than from cutting, pulling or adhesive removal.
- Knot failure
- Abnormal shedding at the hairline knots that is not the result of brushing, heat or friction.
- Cap construction
- Straps, combs, seams or elastic that fail during normal wear.
- Texture defect
- Hair that does not hold the texture stated on the product page under the care routine we publish.
- Window
- 30 days from the delivery date.
What it excludes
- Heat damage
- Straightening, curling or blow-drying above moderate heat, or use without heat protectant.
- Chemical processing
- Bleaching, dyeing or perming — including on pieces listed as suitable for darker colours only.
- Cutting & customisation
- Cut lace, trimmed lengths, plucked hairlines and any restyling done outside Jegomo.
- Normal wear
- Gradual softening of curl pattern, minor shedding, and wear from daily installs over time.
- Adhesive damage
- Lace torn by glue, tape or removal without a proper remover.
- Neglect
- Loss of condition where the published care routine has not been followed.
How to claim
Email salesjegomo@gmail.com with your order number, clear photographs of the issue and a short description of how the piece has been worn and cared for. We reply within 1 business day. Approved claims are resolved with a repair, replacement or credit, at our discretion and based on the specific fault.
The guarantee is separate from returns: returns cover unworn pieces within 30 days, while the craft guarantee covers construction faults on pieces you have actually worn.
